Dr. George W. Childress

DMD, AAACD, FAGD

Dr. George Childress is a native of Roanoke, Alabama. He is a graduate of Auburn University (B.S. 1986) and of the University of Alabama (Birmingham) School of Dentistry (DMD 1991). He is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Society of Preservation of Oral Health, Academy of Implant Dentistry and an alumnus of the LD Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Study. In 2017, Dr. Childress achieved Accreditation in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, making him one of only ten dentists to achieve this status in Georgia and Alabama.

Dr. Childress absolutely loves his work and what "modern" dentistry can do for willing patients. He takes special interest in the "fearful" patient by offering sedation dentistry to accomplish their dental goals.

Dr. Childress has been married to the former Mary Lynn Page of LaGrange for over 35 years. They have four children and 2 "in-law" children. Not that their children don't mean everything to them, but their first grandchild is named Evans!
